Nursing Assistant – Emergency Services (Full‑Time Night Shift)
This role is a full‑time (0.9 FTE) night shift position at Providence Seaside Hospital. The nursing assistant works under direct supervision of the bedside RN and charge nurse to create a safe, hazard‑free environment for patients, families, and providers. Responsibilities include facilitating patient care, maintaining clear communication between RN and charge nurse, and supporting the department’s shift operations.
Responsibilities- Support the bedside RN and charge nurse in enforcing a safe and secure environment for patients, families, and providers.
- Maintain clear communication regarding patient needs through the RN and charge nurse.
- Contribute to a hazard‑free, clean environment that facilitates patient‑focused care.
- Perform assigned duties during the shift and assist with shift logistics.
- Required:
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire. - Preferred:
Coursework or training in medical terminology; completion of hospital medical terminology test within 90 days of hire. - Preferred:
Minimum 6 months of health‑care experience.

Pay Range$20.00 – $27.10 per hour, with placement based on experience and relevant factors.
