Nursing Assistant - Emergency Services

Under direct supervision, this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family, and providers in the department, completing the duties assigned to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient through the RN and Charge Nurse. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard‑free, clean environment that facilitates patient‑focused care.

• Coursework/Training:
  Medical Terminology Course or successful completion of the hospital medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.

• 6 months health‑care experience.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
