Physician Assistant - Hematology Oncology | Seaside, OR

  • End Date/Duration: Based on assignment
  • Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with 1-hour lunch)
  • Hours/Week: 32-40 (flexible, with potential for 10-hour shifts)
  • Employment Type: Contract
  • License/Certs: Active Oregon license, DEA, AONCP certification, BLS
  • Experience: 1+ year working with hematology/oncology patients preferred
Pay & Benefits:

What You’ll Do:
  • Assess and manage hematology-oncology patients within the outpatient clinic
  • Collaborate with oncologists and work independently on some days
  • Manage infusion suite patient care and respond to lab results
  • Coordinate with the oncology nurse navigator to prioritize patient triage
  • Document patient interactions accurately in the EMR
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning
  • Ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols
What You Need:
  • Active Oregon license and DEA registration
  • AONCP certification required
  • BLS certification
  • 1+ year experience in hematology or oncology preferred, but not mandatory
  • Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
