Physician Assistant - Hematology Oncology | Seaside, OR

- End Date/Duration: Based on assignment
- Shift: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with 1-hour lunch)
- Hours/Week: 32-40 (flexible, with potential for 10-hour shifts)
- Employment Type: Contract
- License/Certs: Active Oregon license, DEA, AONCP certification, BLS
- Experience: 1+ year working with hematology/oncology patients preferred
- Hourly Rate: $1.00/hr (as specified)

- Assess and manage hematology-oncology patients within the outpatient clinic
- Collaborate with oncologists and work independently on some days
- Manage infusion suite patient care and respond to lab results
- Coordinate with the oncology nurse navigator to prioritize patient triage
- Document patient interactions accurately in the EMR
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning
- Ensure adherence to safety and compliance protocols
- Active Oregon license and DEA registration
- AONCP certification required
- BLS certification
- 1+ year experience in hematology or oncology preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and compassionate bedside manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
