Position: Manufacturing Planner 3

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

BGS Supply Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Planner to join our team of planners out of the Spares Distribution Center supporting the Repair Station there. You'll collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Quality, AOG, Tooling and Suppliers to define repair plans and configurations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration.
  • Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements.
  • Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met.
  • Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules.
  • Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.
  • Interrogation of 787 LWG and IVT models for part identification and build requirements.
  • Review and interpret 2D legacy drawings for part identification and build requirements.
  • Work closely with supplier management, logistics specialist and purchase agents to coordinate part acquisition.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Experience:

    5+ years of experience in ME planning, repairs & modifications, or other related work experience.
  • Willing to be in rotational on‑call schedule and work overtime as needed to support repair station (weekday and weekend).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to apply existing skills, learn post‑production repair planning and contribute with minimum supervision.
  • Technical

    Skills:

    Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Communication:
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving:
    Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience with build plans and repair/nonconformance planning.
  • Experience with any and all aircraft commodities (Structures, Electrical, Tubing, Interiors, Etc.).
  • Experience with CMES, PDM, CAPP, REDARS, STEPS, SAP.

Min Pay Rate $45

Max Pay Rate $50
