Schedule: 4x10, Sunday-Wednesday, Night Shift - 12:00 AM-8:30 AM
OverviewTake on a new challenge and apply your comprehensive EHS expertise in a cutting‑edge field. Work alongside dedicated teams to ensure compliance with EHS rules for employees and contractors during critical testing and commissioning phases on equipment and trains. This role involves monitoring and enforcing safety protocols across the business.
Responsibilities- Establish and enforce EHS policies and procedures on construction sites
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to ensure safety
- Collaborate with permit offices to secure necessary authorizations
- Investigate incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
- Engage with the prime contractor to align EHS objectives and practices
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with EHS regulations and compliance in a construction or industrial environment
- Educational background in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Experience in the railway, aviation, transportation, or automotive industries
- Knowledge of risk assessment and control strategies for worksites
- Proficiency in incident investigation and reporting procedures
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
