This position leads the Eurest dining services at Delta One Seattle, with accountability for operating within the approved budget, delivering client and guest satisfaction, and guiding the professional growth of the team. This role collaborates with other departments and aligns the dining service with the facility’s operational strategy.

Job Summary

Embark on a journey of excellence as the General Manager at Delta One. This role offers a unique chance to lead a luxury dining venture. The General Manager ensures the account operates within the approved budget while surpassing client expectations and builds strong relationships with employees, guests, and the client. You will drive interdepartmental cooperation and development of the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in employee meetings, reviews, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Maintain food costs while ensuring quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with staff, clients, guests, and other departments.
  • Manage financial reporting, sales reports, P&L reports, annual budgets, and cash handling.
  • Analyze and create trends for financial data.
  • Manage purchasing and inventory controls.
  • Plan menus in consultation with chefs.
  • Ensure knowledge of HACCP controls and proper storage and use of food.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred, or equivalent professional experience
  • Eight to ten years upscale food service experience, including six years’ experience at the management level
  • Experience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation and succession planning
  • Proven track record to achieve company goals in compliance with company/client policies and procedures
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Supervisory, scheduling, training and coaching skills
  • Effective problem solving and conflict management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and maintain focus amid interruptions
  • Experience in food purchasing, costs and inventory control
  • Ability to create budgets, flash reports, financial targets and forecasts
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper storage and use of food
  • Monitor compliance with health and fire regulations regarding food preparation and serving
  • Exceptional business etiquette and client relations
  • Time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong catering experience
  • High integrity and ethical behavior
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office:
    Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Serv Safe or Department of Health certification a plus
