Baggage Handling Supervisor – SEA Airport, Prime Flight Aviation Services, Seatac, WA.

The Baggage Handling Supervisor oversees daily baggage operations, ensuring the safe, timely, and accurate handling of luggage while leading staff, resolving issues, and maintaining compliance with safety and security standards through effective coordination with airport and airline teams.

• Supervise the daily operations of the baggage handling team
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of passenger baggage
• Monitor adherence to baggage handling protocols and safety standards
• Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff on baggage handling procedures
• Resolve operational issues and passenger concerns regarding baggage
• Coordinate with airlines and airport authorities for seamless baggage transfer
• Exemplify Prime Flight customer service and safety standards
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by management

• 18 years of age or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid state‑issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Effective communication in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• 2 years of customer service experience
• 1 year of baggage handling experience
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including use of electronic devices such as iPads/Tablets, computers, and mobile devices
• Effective communication with colleagues and clients, in‑person and electronically
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Eligibility to acquire necessary credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal, as applicable)
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking in indoor/outdoor environments as applicable
• May need to reach with arms and grasp with hands
• May need to push and pull
• May need to bend, stretch, squat, kneel
• Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels
• Ability to hear and respond to spoken voice and audible alarms
• Tasks may involve repetitive motions of arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Specific vision abilities: close vision (clear at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area while eyes fixed on a point); depth perception (judging distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (bringing object into sharp focus)
