Essential Job Functions- Provide advanced bookkeeping support to the accounting department, to include reconciling and troubleshooting missing or erroneous invoices, credits, and other accounting transactions
- Perform weekly check runs paying all invoices within terms
- Payout tracking and reconciliation of expenses
- Coupon collection, submission, and reconciliation
- Credit Card expense review and entry in Quick Books
- Quarterly Rebate and Promotion billbacks, reporting reconciliation and invoicing
- Confirm accuracy of reporting data and making corrections when necessary
- Create and/or update team SOPs for all Staff Accountant (I or II) tasks and processes
- Support Accounting Manger with month end close
- Provide support to other team members as needed
- Additional duties and support as assigned
- Must maintain confidentiality of company information
- Take initiative to perform tasks that need to be done at slow times

Education and Experience
- Basic Accounting knowledge
- Data entry experience
- Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the areas of mathematics, basic accounting
- Experience with Quickbooks Desktop (preferred) or other accounting software
- Experience with MS Office including Word and Excel
- Experience analyzing financial reports or financial data
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required; college degree preferred
- Able to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. occasionally, without strain
- Able to sit for several hours at a time
- Able to hear and speak clearly
- Work is performed in office environment
- Office attire and professional behavior required
- Has a positive and productive attitude at work and boosts morale in the workplace
- Is willing and/or able to take on additional tasks as needed to help support business needs
- Organized and courteous of co-workers working needs
- Arrive on time and ready to work for each scheduled shift
- Provide advance notice to supervisor of any absence of tardiness prior to each scheduled shift
This is a Monday through Friday position working 40 hours a week.
This position is non-exempt with a pay range of $28.00 – $32.00 per hour.
