Position: Senior  Accountant
Description

Robert Half is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a multi-billion-dollar client during a busy period. As the Senior Accountant, you will provide core US GAAP accounting activities, intercompany transactions, and integration‑related processes. You will play a key role in day‑to‑day accounting operations while partnering closely with the client's P2P and integration teams.

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform US GAAP-based accounting preparation, including journal entries, accruals, and month‑end close support.

+ Prepare intercompany journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure accurate recording of cross‑entity activity.

+ Support integration activities by:
Gathering vendor details and documentation, setting up purchase orders (POs), Coordinating with the client's Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) team

+ Prepare general account reconciliations and assist in resolving discrepancies.

+ Provide bank reconciliation support, including review of transactions and alignment with the GL.

+ Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support process improvements and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

+ Strong understanding of US GAAP.

+ Prior experience performing intercompany accounting in a multi‑entity environment.

+ Experience working for a large company or complex corporate structure.

+ Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

+ Proficiency with major ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.) preferred.
