Job Title:
Senior Accountant (Contract)
Location:
Fully remote in Seattle, WA
Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 / Hourly

This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Qualifications:
- 3+ years of senior-level accounting experience
- Experience with international accounting and working with foreign currencies
- Strong understanding of GAAP and debits/credits
- Experience generating and analyzing financial reports
- Strong Excel skills
- Prepare and post multi-currency journal entries for international subsidiaries, ensuring proper foreign exchange accounting and translation.
- Maintain dual‑ledger accounting systems where required, reconciling between local statutory books and US GAAP reporting.
- Perform monthly and year-end balance sheet account reconciliations for international entities.
- Review financial statements prepared by auditors for accuracy and completeness with statutory reporting requirements.
- Prepare year‑end accrual entries including top‑up accruals to align subsidiary trial balances with audit and reporting requirements.
- Provide comprehensive support for statutory audits of international entities, including preparation of audit schedules, PBC (Provided by Client) documentation, and supporting work papers.
- Respond to auditor inquiries and testing requests, gathering supporting documentation such as invoices, contracts, and transaction details.
