Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team in Tukwila, Washington. This long-term contract position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals skilled in financial operations to contribute to a dynamic work environment. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and supporting overall accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

- Handle accounts payable tasks, including reviewing and processing invoices for payment.

- Manage accounts receivable processes, including generating invoices and tracking payments.

- Assist with billing operations to ensure timely and accurate invoicing of clients.

- Input and update financial data with precision and attention to detail.

- Process invoices efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures.

- Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP to complete tasks effectively.

- Generate reports and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel to support financial analysis.

- Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.

- Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes. Requirements - Proven experience in account reconciliation and financial recordkeeping.

- Proficiency in managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

- Familiarity with billing procedures and invoice processing.

- Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy.

- Expertise in using accounting software such as Oracle, Quick Books, and SAP.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial reporting and analysis.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills to support accounting operations.
