Location: Fremont, Seattle (Hybrid or Onsite)
Schedule: Part-Time, Temporary (Approximately 20 hours per week)
Compensation: $33.00–$38.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
Duration: Temporary Assignment (Approximately 3-months, with potential for extension based on business needs)

Living Care Lifestyles is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Temporary Accounts Payable / Staff Accountant to join our accounting team beginning in June 2026.
This position will provide accounting and accounts payable support during a period of organizational transition, system optimization, and special projects. We are looking for an individual who can quickly learn our processes, work independently, and contribute immediately to the daily operations of the Accounting Department.
Essential Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable transactions, including invoice coding and payment processing
- Maintain vendor records and vendor setup documentation
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare supporting schedules
- Assist community teams with invoice research and accounting questions
- Initiate and support bi-weekly check runs
- Prepare annual 1099 reporting
- Maintain accounting and financial records in accordance with company policies
- Respond to inquiries from vendors, community leadership teams, and the accounting team
- Assist with special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable experience
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision
- Experience using Yardi accounting software
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, property management, or multi-location operations
- Experience supporting month-end close and financial reconciliations
- Experience working with accounts payable workflows and vendor management
