Responsibilities:
* Process and code vendor invoices, subcontractor pay applications, and expense reports
* Assist with job cost tracking and ensure expenses are aligned with project budgets
* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
* Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation
* Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions
* Track and manage lien releases, certificates of insurance, and compliance documents
* Support month-end close, including accruals and reporting
* Coordinate with project teams to monitor budget vs. actuals
* Prepare financial reports for leadership as needed
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
* Five or more years of accounting, finance, or project coordination experience
* Experience in construction, engineering, or related industry preferred
* Familiarity with progress billing is a plus
* Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred)
* Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Quick Books, Viewpoint, or similar)
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Professional communication skills
