About the Position
Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, the Assistant Controller plays a key leadership role within the Company’s global accounting organization. This role supports day‑to‑day accounting operations for a growing technology and SaaS business with international operations, with a primary focus on close execution, financial reporting, system and process improvement, and team leadership.
The Assistant Controller is responsible for the accounting close and partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders—including tax, legal, IT, operations, and finance systems—to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable and standardized accounting processes across the subsidiaries that support the Company’s continued growth, geographic expansion, and M&A activity.
Who You AreYou are a seasoned accounting leader with strong experience in a high growth technology or SaaS environment. You bring deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, a detail oriented yet operational mindset, and a passion for building repeatable, scalable accounting processes. You thrive in fast paced environments where systems, controls, and workflows must continually evolve as the business grows.
You are energized by improving efficiency through automation and thoughtful use of technology, including emerging tools such as AI, and you are pragmatic about how and when to apply them within accounting operations. You enjoy collaborating cross functionally and across borders, working with colleagues in different countries, cultures, and time zones to drive consistent outcomes.
You are a people focused leader who values mentorship, clear communication, and accountability, and you take pride in developing strong teams—including offshore teams—through trust, structure, and hands on support.
A day in the lifeIn this role, you will operate as the leader of the Company’s global accounting organization within a dynamic technology and SaaS environment. On any given day, you may be reviewing and supporting financial reporting for the business, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely close results, or working with executive leadership to address accounting implications of new initiatives. You will play a hands‑on role in integrating newly acquired companies, from accounting diligence and purchase accounting through post‑acquisition process and system integration.
Your day may also include collaborating with teams across multiple countries and time zones to drive consistency, automation, and process improvements; partnering with IT and finance systems teams to transform manual workflows into scalable, automated processes; and resolving complex technical accounting questions related to new products, transactions, or growth initiatives.
