Position: Tax Manager or Senior (Hybrid)

Tax Senior/Tax Manager

We are partnering with a well-established public accounting firm that is looking to add a Tax Senior or Tax Manager to its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional who enjoys working closely with privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals while developing long-term client relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in tax compliance and planning, enjoy mentoring staff, and be looking for an opportunity to continue growing their career within a collaborative public accounting environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, S corporations, trusts, and corporations.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to business and individual clients.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships while serving as a trusted advisor.
Research and resolve complex tax issues.
Review work prepared by staff and provide coaching and mentorship.
Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines during busy season.
Assist with practice development and identifying opportunities to expand client services.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA license or progress toward obtaining CPA preferred.
3+ years of public accounting experience for Tax Senior candidates.
5+ years of public accounting experience for Tax Manager candidates.
Experience with pass-through entities, partnerships, S corporations, and individual taxation.
Strong communication and client service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
