Accounts Receivable Clerk

POSITION SUMMARY

The Accounts Receivable Clerk reports to the Grants Manager and is responsible for all aspects of accounts receivable and grants management from a finance perspective. This position is responsible for preparing and submitting and recording monthly invoices, managing receivables, collecting and recording payments.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred
• 4+ years accounting related experience
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
• Excellent customer service skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to multi-task, set and change priorities while ensuring attention to detail, accuracy, and timeliness
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision

• Sage Intacct
• Non‑profit accounting related experience
• Experience in grants management
