Location: Seattle, WA (On-Site/Hybrid)
Compensation: $31–$36/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Dubin Law Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support the firm's day-to-day accounting operations and financial processes. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will work closely with legal operations, human resources, and administrative teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely reconciliations, and efficient accounting workflows.

What You'll Do- Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card accounts monthly to support accurate month-end close procedures
- Ensure Quick Books Online transactions are synced, reviewed, and accurately recorded in the general ledger
- Prepare and post month-end journal entries
- Maintain accurate coding and reconciliation of profit and loss and balance sheet accounts
- Monitor and facilitate timely processing of firm expenses
- Process semi‑monthly payroll and related journal entries
- Coordinate accounts payable processing and periodic check runs
- Assist with communication and reporting related to case cost funding and banking relationships
- Reconcile trust accounts, lines of credit, and related balances
- Review and reconcile subrogation, settlement, and disbursement balances
- Assist with audit preparation, supporting schedules, and requested documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and workflow efficiency
- 2–3+ years of operational accounting experience
- Strong understanding of cash and accrual accounting principles
- Experience with accounts payable, payroll, account reconciliations, and general ledger processes
- Experience preparing audit schedules and supporting documentation
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Quick Books Online
- Experience with cloud-based accounting or ERP systems
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross‑functional teams
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience working in a law firm or legal environment preferred but not required
- Familiarity with legal accounting workflows, trust accounting, and case cost management is a plus
- Experience with accounts payable automation tools and workflow automation platforms preferred
