Accountant, Financial Reporting

Molecular Epidemiology, Inc. (MEI) is hiring an Accountant position at its corporate headquarters in Seattle, WA.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field (required)
• Knowledge in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, accounting practices (required)
• Experience in Quick Books (preferred)
• Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Experience in accounting and ADP (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well‑organized and detail‑oriented
• Ability to multi‑task and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to work well with others
• Friendly, professional, reliable, and presentable

The pay range for this position is $50,000 – $58,000 annually. This is a full‑time position and is eligible for the following benefits after a brief waiting period: medical, dental, vision, life/AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability insurance, health and dependent care FSA plans, employee assistance program, 15 days of paid time off per year for sick leave and/or vacation, 6 paid holidays per year, 3 days paid bereavement leave, and 401(k) with up to 3% employer match after eligibility criteria are met.
