Amazon Leo Accounting Controllership team has an immediate opening for a Risk and Controls Manager. We seek professionals who consistently exceed expectations, thrive in a challenging workplace, and actively contribute to our talented team.

This role requires deep ownership, strong passion for complex processes, and the ability to identify financial statement risks, drive change, and deliver results. The team drives internal controls over financial reporting for Amazon Leo launches, performs internal process, system and control readiness assessments, and collaborates to design controls that mitigate financial statement risks.

• Driving end-to-end process discovery and documentation for complex processes
• Driving control design and implementation with engineering, business, finance, and accounting teams
• Assisting with system implementation and migration and respective SDLC controls
• Planning and managing multiple parallel projects
• Advising on and designing controls and compliance programs
• Providing ongoing support to process owners and cross-functional teams to ensure effective controls
• Participating in annual walkthroughs with process, application, and control owners across the company and external auditors
• Training control owners and technical teams on controls, testing, and risk management; performing control testing as needed
• Assisting in evaluating identified control deficiencies and monitoring remediation efforts

The candidate will collaborate with business, finance, and technical teams to deliver world‑class control solutions that are scalable, secure, and flexible. Successful operation in a fast‑paced, global, results‑oriented environment is essential. Strong oral and written communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills are critical.

• 5+ years of compliance, audit, or risk management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Export Control Requirement:
  Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or admitted as a refugee/asylee

• Experience in accounting management in a Big Four firm with Fortune 500 clients

• USA, CA – Culver City: $ – $ USD
• USA, MA – Boston: $ – $ USD
• USA, OR – Portland: $ – $ USD
• USA, TN – Nashville: $ – $ USD
• USA, TX – Austin: $ – $ USD
• USA, VA – Arlington: $ – $ USD
• USA, WA – Seattle: $ – $ USD

The base salary is inclusive of sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
