Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned Junior Tax Associate to join one of our valued client partners. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an early‑career tax professional who enjoys analyzing complex tax matters, supporting client engagements, and building a long‑term career in public accounting or corporate tax advisory.
The successful candidate will work alongside experienced tax professionals to assist with tax planning, compliance, research, and consulting engagements while developing expertise across federal, state, and local tax matters. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts clearly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct tax research involving federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Prepare tax returns, supporting schedules, and client documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist with tax planning initiatives and strategic tax consulting projects.
- Support senior tax professionals on client engagements across multiple industries.
- Maintain organized tax work papers, documentation, and engagement files.
- Monitor legislative and regulatory tax developments affecting clients.
- Participate in client meetings and assist in responding to tax‑related inquiries.
- Analyze financial information to identify tax planning opportunities and compliance requirements.
- Utilize tax software, research databases, and financial reporting tools efficiently.
- Contribute to special tax projects while maintaining high‑quality work and meeting project deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a closely related discipline.
- Working toward CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of tax principles and tax compliance.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using tax preparation software and tax research databases.
- High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively within a professional team.
- Must currently reside within one of the approved hiring markets.
- Authorized to work in the United States.

- Previous internship or professional experience in public accounting or tax advisory.
- Progress toward CPA certification with plans to complete licensure.
- Experience preparing individual, partnership, corporate, or multi‑state tax returns.
- Familiarity with tax planning strategies and client advisory services.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Experience working within professional services or public accounting firms.
- Stable career progression demonstrating commitment to professional development.
- Compensation: $225,000–$310,000 annually
