Accounting Manager
We are looking for an accounting manager to oversee critical accounting operations and strengthen the financial foundation of our organization in Seattle, Washington. This role will guide monthly close activities, support compliance and reporting requirements, and help maintain effective controls across domestic and international operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, sound judgment, and the leadership skills needed to develop a high-performing finance team.
Responsibilities:
- Direct the monthly close cycle to ensure accurate reporting, timely completion, and delivery of financial results within established deadlines.
- Administer revenue recognition activities, including percent-of-completion accounting, by working closely with project leadership, billing, and FP&A to validate estimates and calculations.
- Review balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry support, and related documentation to maintain complete and reliable financial records.
- Lead annual audit coordination, respond to external auditor requests, and support a smooth audit process that results in well-supported financial statements.
- Partner with outside tax advisors and internal stakeholders to facilitate accurate and timely tax filings across local, state, and federal jurisdictions.
- Oversee cash operations, receivables, payables, and banking-related activities to improve working capital discipline and maintain strong financial controls.
- Maintain accounting policies, process documentation, authorization standards, and segregation of duties to support compliance and operational consistency.
- Coach and manage accounting staff, set performance expectations, and build a service-focused team capable of supporting business growth.
- Assist with acquisition-related accounting activities, including financial due diligence and the integration of newly acquired entities into established accounting processes.
- Support compliance activities such as business license renewals, insurance-related requests, retirement plan audit coordination, and other regulatory obligations.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $145,000.
