The Contract Accounts Payable (A/P) Functional Leader serves as a senior individual contributor responsible for supporting and stabilizing daily A/P operations. This role acts as the right hand to the A/P Supervisor, providing hands-on leadership, workload coordination, and first-level escalation support while actively participating in high-volume invoice processing. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in A/P operations, particularly in subcontract invoice entry, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Oversee daily A/P operations and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing in a high-volume environment. /p> >

Act as Level 1 escalation point for invoice discrepancies, vendor issues, and payment inquiries. /p> >

Partner with the A/P Supervisor to allocate workload, prioritize tasks, and ensure SLA adherence. /p> >

Provide day-to-day functional guidance to team members to maintain production continuity. /p> >

Perform high-volume invoice entry with emphasis on subcontract invoice processing. /p> >

Monitor workflow queues, identify bottlenecks, and adjust workload distribution accordingly. /p> >

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls. /p> >

Support process improvement and documentation efforts to enhance efficiency and consistency. /p> >

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues promptly. /p> >
