Senior Accountant - Long Term Consulting

We are working with a large company in downtown Seattle with a strong international presence that needs to hire a long-term consultant to help with reporting, month-end close, and fixed assets.

• Manage end-to-end oversight of financial processes, including recording journal entries, reconciliations
• Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting and Statement of Cash Flow Reporting.
• Proficient in developing Excel schedules and financial work papers.
• Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies.
• Provide analytical review and fluctuation analysis to support periodic activity.
• Identify internal control gaps and implement controls within the finance, business, or accounting organizations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Review new business contracts and assess their operational and accounting impact.
• Experience in researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions.
• Provide direct support to external auditors during walkthroughs, test of controls, and substantive testing.
• Ability to work independently with close attention to detail.
• Perform maintenance of Oracle Fixed Assets Subledger.
