LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist. The anticipated pay range for this role is between $30-$34 an hour.
Responsibilities- Process weekly, bi-weekly, or semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time.
- Review and verify employee timecards, earnings, deductions, and payroll adjustments.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Respond to employee payroll questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Process new hires, terminations, garnishments, direct deposits, and tax with holdings.
- Reconcile payroll reports and assist with month-end and year-end activities, including W-2 preparation.
- Partner with HR and Accounting to ensure accurate employee and payroll data.
- Support payroll audits and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
- Knowledge of payroll laws, taxes, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with payroll systems such as ADP, UKG, Paychex, Workday, or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
- CPP certification is a plus but not required.

$30.00 to $34.00 per hour
