Accounts Payable Specialist

We are recruiting for the following position:
Sea Mar is a mandatory COVID-19 and flu vaccine organization Accounts Payable Specialist Sea Mar is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to process supplier invoices and payments accurately and timely. This role maintains vendor records, supports reconciliations and month-end close activities, and ensures compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.

• Review, code, and enter supplier invoices into Workday; confirm approvals, supporting documentation, and accurate company, cost center, location, spend category/GL account, project, and grant coding.
• Process daily settlement payment runs and other electronic payments.
• Maintain vendor records, W-9 forms, payment terms, and banking information.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on missing invoices and unapplied credits.
• Monitor AP aging and follow up on overdue or outstanding items.
• Review credit-card transactions for receipts, approvals, business purpose, and accurate accounting coding.
• Reconcile company credit-card statements and ensure payments are made by the due date.
• Assist with month-end close, including AP accruals, prepaid expenses, and AP subledger-to-GL reconciliations.
• Prepare AP and credit-card schedules for management and external auditors.
• Assist with annual 1099 review, reconciliation, and filing.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Workday preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Starting Wage: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

Monday
- Friday, On-site Hourly
- Hourly Plan, 23.00 USD Hourly
