Accounts Payable Specialist

We're looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial operations and exceptional vendor relationships. In this role, you'll own the full accounts payable cycle, support key accounting functions, and help drive process improvements that enhance efficiency across the organization.

What You'll Do

+ Manage the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and vendor payments.

+ Process a high volume of invoices (200+ weekly) while maintaining a high level of accuracy and compliance with company policies.

+ Partner closely with Supply Chain, Inventory Management, and Receiving teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related issues.

+ Investigate payment delays and errors, identify root causes, and implement solutions to improve future performance.

+ Build and maintain strong vendor relationships through proactive communication and exceptional customer service.

+ Identify opportunities for process and system improvements that increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

+ Administer the corporate credit card program, including card setup, policy compliance, fraud monitoring, and monthly statement reconciliation.

+ Support travel and expense management by ensuring policy compliance, facilitating approvals, and processing timely reimbursements.

+ Prepare journal entries and perform balance sheet reconciliations related to accounts payable, accruals, and other assigned accounts.

+ Assist with external audits by providing supporting documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

+ Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, including annual 1099 preparation and reporting.

+ Utilize systems such as Net Suite, Tipalti, Ramp, Slack, and ticketing platforms to manage workflows and maintain accurate records.

What We're Looking For

+ 2+ years of full-cycle Accounts Payable experience.

+ Proven ability to process and manage 200+ invoices per week in a fast-paced environment.

+ Experience working with ERP systems;
Net Suite experience is a plus.

+ Strong understanding of account reconciliations and accrual accounting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $37.00/hr.
