Pay: $110k base - $130k base.
Work Environment: Hybrid after 60 days fully onsite

Our real estate client is an established commercial real estate organization managing a diverse portfolio of properties and is seeking a Senior Property Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee accounting functions for an assigned portfolio of commercial properties.
- Complete month-end close activities and ensure transactions are accurately recorded.
- Prepare property-level financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and supporting schedules.
- Assist with annual budgets, forecasts, and reforecasting.
- Account for operating expenses, CAM charges, property taxes, insurance, and tenant recoveries.
- Assist with annual CAM reconciliations and tenant recovery calculations.
- Assist with accounting system upgrades, testing, and process enhancements.
- Partner with Property Managers to explain financial results and provide accounting guidance.
- Review work prepared by junior accounting staff and provide coaching when appropriate.
- Assist accounting leadership with special projects, financial analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience; commercial real estate experience is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.
- Experience with monthly close processes and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and/or Yardi Pay Scan is preferred.
- Experience with office, retail, industrial, or multifamily properties is required.
- CAM experience is required.
- Experience with property-level budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
