Salary range for this opportunity is $81k to $115k. Sound Transit also offers a competitive benefits package with a wide range of offerings, including:

GENERAL

PURPOSE:

The Accountant II is responsible for performing professional-level accounting duties in support of the Agency’s accounts receivable and federal grant accounting functions. Responsibilities include managing grant reimbursements, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and reporting requirements, maintaining accounts receivable records, preparing invoices, reconciling accounts, monitoring collections, and preparing financial and compliance reports.

The position also performs complex account reconciliations, accruals, complex account and sub ledger reconciliations; gathers, compiles, interprets,analyzes, records, tracks, and reports financial information and transactions; maintains, balances andreconciles assigned accounts and records; prepares and maintains accurate financial records and reports; and provide assistance to Agency staff related to financial analysis and reporting activities.
