Accounting Administrative Assistant

Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an Accounting Administrative Assistant on behalf of our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to social justice, advocacy, and empowerment, particularly for marginalized communities in Seattle, Washington. This is a part-time, temporary on-site opportunity!

Responsibilities
-Handle bank deposits
-Update/maintain approved budgets across organizational departments and projects
-Support invoicing, payment schedules and billing requirements
-Perform monthly account reconciliations and reports
-Collect and review timesheets in preparation for payroll, including leave tracking
-Assist with processing semi-monthly payroll
-Help prepare 1099s and year-end tax forms
-Process reimbursement forms
-Track expenses and receipts in Quick Books and One Drive
-Organize/maintain electronic records
-Support with organizational meeting logistics and calendaring
-Inventory of office and supply ordering
-Assist with administrative needs relating to recruitment and onboarding processes
-Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls as needed
-Maintain an organized, comfortable and functional office environment
-Provide coverage for the receptionist and front desk duties during their absence

Qualifications
-2+ years of related experience

- Experience with Quick Books and nonprofit administration

Compensation and Benefits
Pay rate of $24-28/hour (DOE)
