Document Services Associate (Contract)

Pay: $21.30/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Duration: 6-month contract

Location: 1301 2nd Ave, Suite 4200, Seattle, WA 98101 (100% onsite)

Job Summary

This role supports document services operations through document preparation, scanning, and quality control. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable performing repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, scan, and quality-check documents and records
  • Handle and move banker boxes of documents (up to 50 lbs)
  • Operate desktop scanners using Capture OnTouch software
  • Perform basic file management using Microsoft Office, Outlook, and File Explorer
  • Support shipping/receiving and document workflow processes
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders
  • Maintain organization and accuracy in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Qualifications
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the legal industry strongly preferred
  • Prior copy/print or document services experience a plus
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, basic file navigation)
  • Comfortable using office equipment such as printers, copiers, scanners, and postage machines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage repetitive tasks
  • Basic electronics knowledge preferred
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
