Latitude Legal is partnering with a highly respected boutique law firm in the Seattle area to identify an exceptional Executive Legal Assistant who excels in executive-level administrative support, brings strong legal operations skills, and is comfortable working with and understanding technology used to support modern legal practices. This permanent position offers a rare combination of flexibility, responsibility, and close collaboration with experienced attorneys in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

The role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting attorney workflows, improving practice organization, and contributing to operational efficiency while serving as a trusted administrative  this role, the Legal Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support, including calendar management, client communications, document preparation and coordination, billing and expense support, and overall practice organization. The firm is known for its deeply personal, client-centered approach, and this role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys being a trusted right hand, keeping things running smoothly, and supporting attorneys so they can focus on delivering excellent client service.

Must have flexibility to work onsite at the firm’s Seattle office (preferably 5 days a week but may be less for the right candidate).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-level executive and administrative support to attorneys, including complex calendar management, scheduling, and coordination of meetings and deadlines.

Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and third parties, handling communications professionally and ensuring timely follow-up.

Prepare, format, proofread, and organize correspondence, engagement letters, invoices, and other practice-related documents.

Manage document filing, organization, and records (electronic and physical), ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and easy retrieval.

Coordinate logistics for meetings, client appointments, and occasional events, including preparation of materials and follow-up items.

Assist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client information and contact records.

Support general practice operations, helping ensure attorneys are organized, informed, and able to focus on client service.

Experience supporting legal operations or law firm operations is highly desirable, including familiarity with billing processes, matter management, document workflows, and practice management systems

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in a legal assistant or executive assistant role, including experience working in a law firm or professional services environment.

Demonstrated experience providing high-level administrative support to attorneys or senior professionals, including complex calendar management, client coordination, and practice support.

Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities, workflows, and deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, client-focused demeanor.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal or practice management systems, with comfort learning and using new technologies to support efficient workflows.

Experience or aptitude in process improvement and legal operations support, including identifying opportunities to streamline administrative workflows, improve practice organization, and leverage technology for efficiency.

Familiarity with billing and timekeeping processes, matter coordination, document management, and records workflows is desirable.

High degree of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Proactive, reliable, and service-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Experience supporting Estate Planning or Probate attorneys or practice areas is highly desirable but not required.

Compensation:

Pay:
The base salary for this position ranges from $70,000-$85,000, depending on experience. The firm also offers comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision, dental, life, and disability insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and ORCA card for commuting
