Assistant Project Coordinator

Job Description

This assistant project coordinator position is ideal for candidates with knowledge of flooring materials who want to contribute to a fast-growing, family‑owned flooring and counter top construction company. You will assist project managers and company owners in managing commercial and residential flooring projects within a medium‑sized team of 6‑10 members. This role focuses on supporting project execution from start to finish with minimal client interaction and offers opportunities for advancement within project management.

• Support project managers in coordinating flooring construction projects
• Manage flooring materials and coordinate deliveries
• Maintain clear communication with team members and stakeholders
• Prepare and organize project documentation, including submittals and close‑out documents
• Assist in tracking project progress and milestone coordination
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
• Coordinate samples and materials for project use
• Generate reports to support project tracking and management
