PPM Program Administration Specialist - WA

Pro Sidian seeks a PPM (Project/Portfolio Management) Program Administration Specialist to support an engagement for an American scientific agency within the United States Department of Commerce that focuses on the conditions of oceans, major waterways, and the atmosphere. Dedicated to understanding and stewardship of the environment, the Agency’s mission is to understand and predict changes in climate, weather, oceans, and coasts, share that knowledge and information with others, and conserve and manage coastal and marine ecosystems and resources.

The Pro Sidian engagement team members provide multi‑functional enterprise services staff support, including functional areas of information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support, and administrative support. The staff augmentation is required to support a myriad of standard services required across the Department.

As a PPM Program Administration Specialist, you will support program support activities, prepare management plans and reports using Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and Project. You will coordinate schedules to facilitate completion of proposals, contract deliverables, task order reviews, briefings/​presentations, and in‑process review preparation. You will perform analysis, development, and review of program administrative operating procedures. A BS/BA degree in a related field (or equivalent) plus approximately four years of related experience is required.

  • Have a strong understanding of federal government business operations and work processes.
  • Support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution of assigned work functions.
  • Provide management support to collect, evaluate and test financial data for recurring departmental processes and reviews. Summarize issues and findings in a clear and logical manner.
  • Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Conduct periodic reconciliation reviews of external interfaces with various field offices to identify and correct data gaps, financial discrepancies, and errors.
  • Work with a variety of IT systems to provide multi‑functional enterprise services on behalf of Enterprise Services.
  • Provide acquisition support for all bureaus with functional areas that include information technology, financial management, human resources, program management, economic analysis, executive support, and administrative support.
  • Have advanced experience with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must have strong presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

The PPM Program Administration Specialist must have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, and must be able to use a computer to communicate via email. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related tools and technology is required. Work products shall be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and comply with established criteria.

Duties must be performed competently and professionally to meet milestones and delivery schedules.

A bachelor’s degree is required with at least three years of experience in preparing reports and delivering contract deliverables.

Travel:
Travel is allowed in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.

Location:

Work shall be conducted at the CONUS/OCONUS – Seattle, WA.
