We're seeking an experienced, mission-driven Executive Assistant who thrives in complexity, anticipates what's needed before it's asked, and moves with discretion, urgency, and precision. ** Why This Role Matters
** This is not your typical administrative position. As Executive Assistant supporting the VP, CFO/Business Operations, you will be a key member of the Strategy, Finance, Business Operations (SFB) team within Blue Origin’s Operations group. You will help connect the dots between various teams within Operations as well as Blue Finance. You will be a step or two ahead of the VP, CFO/Business Operations.
Your organizational expertise will enable critical decisions that shape the future of Operations as we scale manufacturing m strategic planning sessions to tactical meetings, you'll ensure our leadership remains focused, informed, and supported. Your impact will ripple across every team within Operations as we scale to achieve Blue’s bold mission.
** What You'll Do
** In this role, you'll become an extension of our leadership team, trusted with sensitive information, complex logistics, and mission-critical communication. Your responsibilities will include:
** Executive Partnership
*** Serve as a thought partner and operational right hand to a senior executive with distinct but interconnected priorities
* Maintain situational awareness, anticipating needs and proactively managing shifting demands
* Build trusted relationships across internal teams and external partners
* Develop effective systems for triaging requests, information flow, and resource allocation
** Calendar & Scheduling Excellence
*** Manage complex, high-volume calendars across time zones
* Coordinate internal and external meetings with precision, optimizing for priority, flow, and flexibility
* Act as gatekeeper and gateway — balancing access with focus time
** Travel & Logistics
*** Coordinate detailed domestic and international travel: flights, accommodations, ground transportation, meeting prep, and contingency planning
* Manage pre-travel briefing materials and ensure executives are always one step ahead
* Submit timely, accurate expense reports aligned with internal policy
** Communication & Confidentiality
*** Draft, edit, and manage correspondence on behalf of senior leaders — maintaining tone, clarity, and context
* Act as a liaison across departments and with internal and external partners, managing sensitive communications with discretion
* Handle confidential information and decisions with integrity and tact
** Strategic Projects & Priorities
*** Drive special projects from ideation to execution (e.g., hiring efforts, onboarding programs, team offsites, executive reporting)
* Help translate big-picture priorities into actionable steps and ensure follow-through
* Improve and evolve internal workflows, templates, and processes
** Event Planning & Team Engagement
*** Plan and execute key internal events including team offsites, executive reviews, and all-hands meetings
