Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities (meetings, presentations, etc.) across multiple teams
- Facilitate processes necessary to the effective running of the department
- Review operating practices and procedures, determine whether improvements can be made and work with management to implement changes as appropriate
- Set up and oversee administrative procedures and guidelines for the department
- Assist in maintaining department budget and expense reconciliations
- Actively drive special projects as assigned
- 5+ years of administrative support experience supporting senior leaders or executives
- Proficiency in MS Office suite; intermediate to advanced skill in MS PowerPoint highly desired
- Strong time management skills and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities to meet critical deadlines
- Experience handling confidential information while maintaining a high level of integrity and discretion
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to build relationships with customers, peers, and leaders within a matrixed environment
- Clear and effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in business administration preferred
Location:
hybrid role requiring the selected candidate to work onsite four (4) days per week and be located within commutable distance of the Nordstrom corporate offices in Seattle, WA.
Pay Range: $27.75 - $44.25 hourly. Pay may differ by location and is dependent on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
