Overview
An Associate Patient Care Coordinator provides various receptionist and skilled clerical duties to support the department. This position is responsible for scheduling patients, obtaining necessary documentation, and coordinating aspects of patient care to ensure continuity of care. The position performs prior authorizations when necessary. The role promotes team concepts and reflects the mission and values of the entity.
ResponsibilitiesThe role conducts receptionist and skilled clerical duties, schedules patients, obtains documentation, coordinates patient care aspects, and performs prior authorizations when needed. These tasks support continuity of care and uphold the team concept and organizational mission.
SalaryPay Range: $21.30 - $31.48 per hour. Additional compensation may be available such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Required Qualifications- Completion of PMC’s Competency Review for BOS/PSR/PAR staff with a passing score within 90 days of hire
- Customer service experience
- 6 months of medical office experience
- 6 months of experience in EMR
