**** About this Opportunity
** Reporting to the Assistant Director for Student Care & Conduct, the Conduct & Compliance Coordinator serves as a primary point of contact for staff, residents, parents, and community members seeking information or services from the HFS Residential Life Student Care & Conduct unit. They are responsible for interpreting and applying complex policies and procedures in response to requests; coordinating agreement compliance process, administrative components of student conduct program, and records management;

and coordinating conduct office operations.

The position supports a complex program, monitoring student care, conduct, and compliance for the Residential Life unit.  The program activities are distributed throughout the UW campus. Working knowledge of residential life and program administration are keys to successful performance.

Though hired into a specific working title or location, all employees of Housing & Food Services are expected to support overall operations by: participating in cross-training, providing coverage during staff absences or high business volume, participating in production and/or service of special events, and being willing and able to perform additional, related duties and/or be reassigned to another work unit.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Conduct Process (40%)  + Serves as a resource to staff on the proper use of the conduct database; interpreting and applying program guidelines  + Coordinates and maintains a system of communication regarding scheduling and completion of educational sanctions  + Schedule, upload, and maintain attendance records for conduct educational workshops  + Monitors student compliance with assigned sanctions; communicating with students who have failed to complete sanctions in accordance with established deadlines, re-scheduling students into workshops as required, and initiating incident reports based on student non-compliance
* Housing Agreement Compliance (20%)  + Completes bi-weekly and quarterly academic registration status checks on all housing residents  + Create and review report of student registration status to identify students who require outreach when housing eligibility requirements may have been breached  + Monitors resident compliance with outreach letters and reports discrepancies on an internal report and report to supervisor  + Complete termination process for residents who are not eligible and not able to receive an exception
* Administrative Support (15%)  + Provides administrative support to the Residential Life Team as assigned, including coordinating meetings, reserving spaces, distributing agendas, and recording and distributing meeting minutes  + Supports the HFS Central Office Residential Life suite as needed, including answering telephones, receiving and referring visitors, scheduling appointments, and responding to inquiries
* On-Call Resources (10%)  + Develops forms and procedures essential to Residential Life On-Call operations including On-Call Resources committee scheduling, Emergency Space Database, and On-Call rotation staff scheduling
* Financial Processes (10%)  + Completes purchases on behalf of Residential Life utilizing a variety of procurement methods and reconciles all transactions in alignment with university procurement policies and procedures
* Records Management (5%)  + Updates and maintains the Residential Life conduct database, including student housing assignments and student conduct case records

*** One year of experience working in a residential life, conduct administration or equivalent education/experience.
* Familiarity with Advocate database or other similar tools (Maxient, etc.)
