Job Summary
A growing project-based organization in the residential and commercial construction industry is seeking a Project Coordinator/Administrator to support multiple projects from startup through closeout. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys keeping teams organized, documentation accurate, and project activities moving forward. The Project Coordinator/Administrator will serve as a key point of contact between project managers, internal departments, clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams.

- Provide administrative and coordination support to project managers, operations teams, vendors, clients, and field personnel.
- Maintain project files, contracts, permits, submittals, correspondence, reports, schedules, and closeout documentation.
- Track project milestones, deadlines, outstanding items, change requests, purchase orders, invoices, and cost documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, site visits, agendas, meeting notes, action items, and project communications.
- Assist with vendor onboarding, procurement activities, billing support, approvals, and project-related administrative workflows.
- Identify opportunities to improve documentation practices, tracking tools, templates, and project administration processes.
- Compensation: $60,000 to $75,000 per year.

- Coordinate project startup, scheduling, documentation, communication, and closeout activities.
- Maintain accurate project records, logs, reports, contracts, permits, submittals, and correspondence.
- Support purchase orders, invoices, expense tracking, billing documentation, and approval workflows.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, internal departments, and field teams to keep projects on track.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in project coordination, project administration, operations support, office administration, or a similar role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities at the same time.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, follow-through, and documentation quality.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project managers, field teams, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, prioritization, and process improvement skills.
- Experience in construction, engineering, field services, manufacturing, professional services, or another project-based environment.
- Experience with project management software, ERP systems, CRM platforms, or document management tools.
- Familiarity with project scheduling, document control, procurement support, invoice processing, and vendor coordination.
