What this job involves:

As a Horticulture Program Administrator at JLL, you'll play a vital role in supporting the comprehensive administration of our innovative Horticulture Program for Amazon Global Real Estate & Facilities. Working in a fast-paced corporate environment, you'll provide 5-star professional customer service while executing administrative tasks that ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of all program operations. You'll collaborate closely with the JLL Horticulture Program Managers, Program Coordinator, and horticulturists to deliver exceptional service to the Global Real Estate & Facilities team. This diverse program encompasses all corporate horticulture initiatives, requiring coordination with numerous internal and external partners.

Your role combines detailed administrative support with strategic thinking, helping to implement processes that ensure program sustainability and operational excellence while maintaining JLL's reputation for building strong vendor partnerships and delivering outstanding client service.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Assist with creating and posting plant-related content for Amazonians and the community via social media posts, newsletter creation, and Slack posts
  • Assist with ordering supplies and materials and processing invoices
  • Assist with planning and organizing events
  • Represent JLL and the Horticulture Program professionally across various audiences including clients, vendors, speakers, and supporting organizations and at in-person and virtual events
  • Assist Greenhouse, Spheres, and Community Landscape teams with administrative and operational support as needed including coordinating and communicating scheduling
  • Complete administrative tasks and any additional tasks within specified deadlines
  • Implement JLL's leadership behaviors, best practices, and innovations
  • Perform all additional duties commensurate to the level of the role.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of two years of administrative office experience in a professional environment
  • Must meet highest attendance and punctuality requirements with reliable schedule adherence
  • Ability and willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities, manage multiple deadlines, and assume additional responsibilities as needed
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and willingness to learn additional software applications
  • Ability to manage social media and assist with purchasing and event planning
  • Ability to professionally present technical information and business correspondence to diverse audiences in verbal and written formats with strong grammar and proofreading capabilities
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including professionalism, customer service, collaboration, inclusivity, teamwork, and commitment to JLL's Leadership Behaviors
  • Strong communication skills, critical thinking, analysis, and judgement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Biology, Communication, or similar field
  • Background in program administration or coordination, vendor management, and procurement process in fast-paced corporate settings
