Pepper’s Personal Assistants is seeking dependable, adaptable Personal Assistants to provide substitute coverage when a regularly assigned PA is unavailable or when a client needs temporary support. Substitute PAs are an important part of our team, helping ensure that clients continue receiving thoughtful, reliable assistance.

This position can also be a great way to learn how Pepper’s works, demonstrate your strengths, and be considered for a regular client assignment when an appropriate opportunity becomes available. However, regular placement and a specific number of weekly hours are not guaranteed.

Pepper’s Personal Assistants has supported busy families, executives, business owners, and professionals since 2012. Our PAs manage the household tasks, errands, projects, and details that make everyday life easier for our clients.

Pepper’s directly employs all PAs as W-2 employees. We are not a placement agency, and our PAs receive ongoing support from the Pepper’s management team.

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule. Substitute opportunities generally occur Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., although individual shift times and locations vary according to client needs.

• Weekly hours are not guaranteed and may vary significantly.
• Substitute shifts may be planned in advance or become available on shorter notice.
• PAs may identify their availability and accept or decline offered shifts.
• Once a PA accepts a shift, they are expected to complete the assignment reliably and on time.
• Greater weekday availability may result in more substitute opportunities.
• Substitute PAs may work with multiple clients in different parts of the greater Seattle area.
• This role is best suited for someone who does not require a consistent number of weekly hours.

Candidates seeking a regular PA position are welcome to express interest. Substitute PAs may be considered for future client assignments based on availability, location, performance, client needs, and overall fit, but a future regular assignment is not guaranteed.

$28–$31 per hour, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.

Employees are paid for all assigned working time, including required meetings, training, and eligible travel between work locations, in accordance with company policy and applicable law.

• Running errands and grocery shopping
• Providing light meal preparation and planning
• Completing laundry, dishes, and general household tidying
• Maintaining or implementing home-organization systems
• Coordinating appointments, deliveries, vendors, and household services
• Supporting special projects and household-management needs
• Following established household procedures and maintenance schedules
• Tracking receipts, purchases, or other client-approved household expenses
• Providing basic pet care
• Communicating updates and documenting completed work
• Learning and following client-specific preferences and instructions

Substitute PAs must be comfortable entering an established household, learning its systems quickly, and maintaining continuity without unnecessarily changing existing processes.
