Lube Technician - Pierre of Seattle
Pierre of Seattle is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lube Technician to join our reputable automotive service team. As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and lubrication services on customer vehicles, ensuring their optimal performance and longevity. Responsibilities:- Perform routine oil changes and filter replacements efficiently and accurately.
- Check and top up fluid levels, including coolant, transmission, brake, and power steering fluids.
- Inspect and replace vehicle air filters, windshield wipers, and other minor components as necessary.
- Conduct tire rotations and basic tire repairs.
- Perform general vehicle inspections to identify potential issues or safety concerns.
- Keep detailed records of services performed, including parts used, fluids added, and vehicle condition.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and techniques through ongoing training and development.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a lube technician or in a similar automotive maintenance role is preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive lubricants, filters, and basic vehicle components.
- Familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures for various vehicle makes and models.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Pay: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour D.O.E.
