Amazon is seeking a Senior Strategic Initiatives Manager to join the Sales Strategy & Operations team.

Senior Strategic Initiatives Managers serve in a pivotal role, leading key initiatives, partner engagements and driving new project developments to aid business growth.

Successful candidates must work well in a fast-paced and often ambiguous arena, and will be rewarded by working alongside highly collaborative and entrepreneurial colleagues in an environment that feels much more “startup” than “big company”.

Key job responsibilities

Ideate solutions to solve key customer problems by developing innovative solutions and test through "proof of concept" approaches

Develop full scale solutions for solutions that prove successful well in the testing phase

Establish strong partner relationships with internal business stakeholders, building a strong understanding of strategic business direction, requirements and priorities.

Develop growth strategies to deliver against ambitious objectives for the category

Build collaborative partnerships with external stakeholders and drive the right business inputs while delivering above par seller experience

Drive automation and feature development for the program working closely with tech/product teams

Work with business and finance leaders to identify and drive cost savings and long-term sustainable growth

Prepare and hold business reviews with stakeholders to review seller performance, future opportunities, and/or challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of sales operations or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining, refining and implementing sales processes, procedures and policies or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience presenting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
