Position: TikTok Shop - Logistics Partnership Manager

Responsibilities

The procurement team undertakes logistics-related service and physical procurement as well as service provider management work in line with the development of logistics business. The team is responsible for the price competitiveness of procurement services while meeting business requirements, and maintaining relationships with service providers to ensure long-term and stable cooperation.

  • Strategic Partnerships with Global Leading supply chain and Logistics Providers
    • Identify, evaluate, and lead supplier development or joint business plan on value creation. Proactively identify supply risks and develop mitigation plan.
    • Formulate introduction strategies, long-term cooperation plans and capability improvement plans for regional logistics and supply chain fulfillment service providers.
    • Conduct procurement activities, which includes resolving issues and ensuring seamless maintenance of vendor accounts, and purchase orders/requisitions.
  • Full Lifecycle Supplier Management
    • Through market research and sourcing efforts, established connections with logistics and supply chain service providers in the U.S. market, and introduce these service providers as partners of the E-commerce platform according to business needs.
    • Establish a tiered supplier management system (SLA/KPI/risk alerts), optimizing carrier contract terms quarterly to maintain price competitiveness and service quality.
    • Conduct carrier bidding and price negotiations, reducing logistics costs through economies of scale while monitoring compliance and driving improvements.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration
    • Collaborate with business operation teams, strategy and product to deliver carrier capability mapping and resource allocation models.
    • Develop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to develop, implement, and optimize processes and programs that enable the operations to scale.
  • Core Competencies
    • Ability to articulate partnership value propositions, with experience in high-value contract negotiations.
    • Capable of deconstructing cost structures and market trends, designing profit-maximizing partnership models.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business Management, International Trade, or Supply Chain.
    • 5+ years in commercial or business development roles, with expertise in partnerships with U.S. service providers.
    • Strong project management skills, as well as statistical analysis skills.
    • Sophisticated presentation skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, understanding of financial reports.
