Overview
Earth Finance is hiring an experienced Senior Analyst to successfully support multiple projects and work streams across our Renewable Fuels portfolio. This full-time role is based in Seattle, WA. We will not consider remote candidates for this position.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain complex analytical models to evaluate renewable fuels pathways (e.g., SAF, renewable diesel, biodiesel, e-fuels), feedstock supply chains, production economics, and lifecycle emissions.
- Clean, structure, and analyze large, multi-source datasets (market data, policy data, techno-economic inputs, lifecycle data) to generate defensible insights.
- Develop repeatable analytical frameworks and tools to support scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and long-term market outlooks.
- Ensure data quality, transparency, and methodological rigor across all analyses and deliverables.
- Conduct quantitative assessments of market size, cost curves, supply/demand dynamics, policy impacts, and infrastructure constraints.
- Conduct qualitative research including stakeholder interviews, literature reviews, regulatory analysis, and competitive landscape assessments.
- Integrate quantitative results with qualitative insights to form cohesive, decision-relevant conclusions.
- Critically evaluate assumptions, uncertainties, and limitations, and clearly communicate their implications.
- Contribute to the development of high-quality client reports, technical memos, and briefing materials from outline through final publication.
- Translate complex technical and economic analysis into clear, compelling narratives for executive, policy, and industry audiences.
- Create polished charts, tables, and visualizations that communicate key findings and recommendations effectively.
- Establish and maintain standards for structure, clarity, and analytical credibility across written deliverables.
- Build and maintain deep, current knowledge of renewable fuels technologies, feed stocks, conversion pathways, policy frameworks, and sustainability criteria.
- Monitor developments in SAF, renewable diesel, hydrogen, carbon capture, and power-to-liquids markets.
- Assess implications of evolving regulations, incentives, and sustainability standards (e.g., CFS, LCFS, RFS, CORSIA, EU RED, SBTi).
- Contribute to strategic recommendations on decarbonization pathways for transportation and energy systems.
- 3+ years of professional experience. Experience in Renewable Fuels a plus.
- Familiarity with, and understanding of, existing and emerging renewable fuels global policies and standards, or the ability to get up to speed on these quickly, is required.
- Demonstrated ability to build lasting internal and external relationships, navigate high profile stakeholders, deliver high quality work and manage successful deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with, and understanding of, heavy duty transportation decarbonization across the aviation, maritime, and trucking industries.
- Experience collaborating with internal subject-matter experts, policy specialists, and external partners to refine analyses.
- Ability to build trusted relationships internally and externally - being responsive, showing technical credibility, and clearly communicating.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training and / or experience) is required.
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations and the nature of start-ups / young businesses.
- Competent and comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite, Google products, AI tools, and data visualization tools.

- Salary range for this role is $115,000 - $130,000. Title and salary offered will be commensurate with your experience.
