Introduction to the Team

Expedia’s Product Division’s Product Strategy team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to help us deliver amazing experiences to our travelers & craft our strategy for the future. Do you want to help people go places? Come travel with us!

In this role, you won’t just shape strategy from the sidelines, you will operate as a product manager on some of Expedia’s most important bets. You’ll own highly strategic problem spaces: clarifying which customers we’re serving, deeply understanding their needs, framing the problems to solve, and defining how our products and experiences should evolve to meet those needs. You will bring together the product management craft - customer problem and needs discovery, opportunity framing, product intuition, and solution design - with a strong strategy skill set - problem framing, data and competitive analysis, opportunity sizing, and senior executive communications - to influence where we invest, what we build, and how we win.

Sitting within the Product organization, our Product Strategy team partners with Product & Technology leaders to shape the future of all our traveler- and partner-facing experiences (our apps and websites across Expedia, , Vrbo, and more). The Product Strategy team works with local and global teams to set strategy and drive it into action. You will lead company‑wide strategic product initiatives, collaborating closely with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Planning, Product Marketing, Business, Marketing, Analytics, and Finance.

We will help you grow as a strategist, product manager, problem solver, relationship builder, and communicator with the skills to drive complex, cross‑functional product work from insight to execution.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead the development and execution of strategic product initiatives spanning Expedia Group’s traveler‑ and partner‑facing experiences, leveraging data and market insights.
  • Identify and define innovative opportunities to enhance customer experiences and drive measurable business growth across multiple brands and platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Analytics, Finance, and Marketing, building consensus and driving alignment on complex, high‑impact projects.
  • Synthesize technology trends, competitive intelligence, and internal data to inform and refine long‑term product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Structure and solve ambiguous problems, communicating tradeoffs and recommendations to executive audiences through compelling storytelling and data‑driven presentations.
  • Safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve outcomes, demonstrating familiarity with AI‑driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real‑world products.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent related professional experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, strategy, or equivalent roles within e‑commerce, technology, or travel sectors.
  • Proven ability to own complex product and strategy initiatives, driving cross‑functional execution and stakeholder alignment at the organizational level.
