Full Service Leader

To coach, mentor, and develop Salon Sales Consultants (SBCs). Deliver on divisional goals and objectives. Contribute to achieving day‑to‑day objectives.

• 30% Establish sales and promotion goals for SBCs, communicate goals, plan and conduct sales meetings, identify potential key accounts, schedule manufacturer representatives, and maintain relationships.
• 30% Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to SBCs, travel with them to assess customer relationships, evaluate selling skills, and provide guidance and feedback on a regular schedule.
• 20% Visit or communicate with customers to evaluate service levels, ensure education events achieve maximum participation, and schedule manufacturer education events for salons and SBCs.
• 10% Maintain regular communication with supervisors and the company by attending meetings, responding to calls and emails, and alerting them to important information.
• 10% Monitor and analyze employee performance, conduct appraisals, enforce policies, resolve conflicts, manage territories, and complete periodic sales, activity, and status reports.

• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred.
• One year of experience supervising sales or operations employees.
• Four years of direct sales experience.

• Excellent interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively without close supervision.
• Consultative selling and negotiating skills.
• Ability to travel, overnight and weekends required.
• Reliable means of transportation and personal vehicle liability coverage sufficient to meet corporate minimum requirements.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts typical of offices, meetings, retail stores, and client travel. It requires normal safety precautions, use of safe work practices, and compliance with fire regulations. The work is sedentary but may involve walking, standing, bending, carrying light items, driving an automobile, and using a keyboard.
