The Amazon Worldwide Grocery team is excited to welcome an Instock Manager (ISM) to reshape customer experiences and supply chain excellence. Your expertise will drive innovation, efficiency, and lasting impact.

As an Instock Manager you will lead cross‑functional initiatives, develop business plans, and oversee supply chain and inventory management across both Online and In‑Store channels.

Success in this role requires comfort using data to influence others, building scalable systems, and operating in an ambiguous fast‑paced environment. You will drive initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and process improvement.

• Manage inventory availability and health: improved in‑stock, inventory planning, vendor operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time), forecasting, and waste reduction.
• Drive cross‑functional strategic initiatives to improve customer experience and overall cost structure.
• Perform complex business analysis to identify opportunities to increase revenue and profitability.
• Partner with internal teams to develop tools, automation, and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows.

You will collaborate closely with top suppliers, internal vendors, and strategic partners to enhance supply chains and operational excellence. You will operate in a professional environment that fosters growth, values insights, and empowers you to shape the future of e‑commerce.

Our mission is to perfect the grocery experience by optimizing DC operations and nurturing relationships with key distributor partners. As part of the Grocery Retail Inbound Team (GRIT), you’ll help orchestrate the seamless flow of goods and influence long‑term planning of our DC topology, sourcing strategy, and vendor partnerships.

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of professional or military experience.
• 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience.
• 3+ years of Excel experience.

• Knowledge of principles of statistical inventory control.
• Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.

The base salary range varies by location:
Chicago IL $73,300.00—$;
Nashville TN $66,000.00—$;
Austin TX $73,300.00—$;
Seattle WA $82,700.00—$ USD annually.

Your package will include sign‑on payments and RSUs. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
