QXO is the fastest growing company in the $800 billion building products distribution industry and plans to become the tech-enabled leader by delivering best-in-class customer satisfaction and outsized returns for its shareholders.

What you'll do

As a Principal Product Manager – Technical, you will be responsible for the product vision and roadmap across a portfolio of strategic capabilities spanning Pricing, Sales Technology, Marketing Technology, Forecasting, and AI incubation initiatives. You will shape product strategy while working with engineering, UX, and applied science teams to deliver features that drive business growth and operational excellence. This includes leveraging autonomous agents and machine learning to improve internal and customer-facing workflows and automating decision-making.

You will act as the clear product leader across these areas, owning a subset of the roadmap directly as an individual contributor while providing strategic guidance and prioritization support to senior PMs across the portfolio. You will manage highly demanding internal business partners, bringing relationship management skill, operating rigor, and roadmap clarity to a complex, fast-moving domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Launch new products and features across Pricing, Sales Tech, Marketing Tech, Forecasting, and AI incubation areas.
  • Develop and communicate a compelling product vision, strategy, and business impact for each domain in the portfolio.
  • Own features and services from design through deployment and ongoing support, while helping senior PMs deliver on their roadmaps with clarity and schedule discipline.
  • Act as the senior product leader across the QXOS portfolio, the "operating system" for QXO’s sales and operations - driving accountability, operating rigor, and cross-functional alignment without direct management authority.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, UX, data science, finance, and business) to deliver end-to-end solutions and support long-term strategy.
  • Drive prioritization and roadmap clarity across Pricing infrastructure, Sales and Marketing tooling, demand Forecasting systems, and early-stage AI products.
  • Translate complex business partner needs into well‑defined product requirements and ensure delivery of high-performance, resilient, and scalable systems.
  • Write and enforce high-quality product narratives and roadmap documents to align stakeholders and drive decision-making.
  • Leverage experimentation and data to define success metrics for features and uncover trends and patterns.
  • Manage diverse senior stakeholders with professionalism, influence, and operational discipline.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead across a portfolio as a senior individual contributor, influencing and elevating peer PMs without formal management authority.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience navigating demanding business partners and driving alignment across competing priorities.
  • Proven track record of driving operating rigor, roadmap discipline, schedule accountability, and structured decision-making.
