SummaryThe Senior Insights Analyst serves as a strategic thought partner to Sales Operations and cross‑functional stakeholders by delivering advanced, insight‑driven analysis that shapes commercial strategy and business decisions. This role leads complex analyses using syndicated and internal data sources, translates insights into clear business implications, and influences strategy across Sales, Marketing, and R&D. The Senior Insights Analyst operates with a high degree of autonomy, mentors junior analysts, and plays a key role in evolving Trident Seafoods’ insights capabilities.
EssentialFunctions
- Leads advanced analysis and interpretation of third‑party syndicated POS data (e.g., Circana, Nielsen, Numerator) to assess market dynamics, category performance, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
- Translates complex data into concise, executive‑ready insights and recommendations that directly inform commercial strategy, customer planning, and innovation decisions.
- Owns the development and evolution of high‑impact dashboards, recurring reports, and analytical frameworks to ensure relevance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Acts as a strategic advisor to Sales, Marketing, and R&D stakeholders by proactively identifying opportunities, risks, and trends across categories and customers.
- Synthesizes multiple data sources (syndicated data, internal sales data, research, and ad‑hoc analyses) into cohesive narratives that drive alignment and action.
- Ensures data quality, methodological rigor, and analytical consistency across insights deliverables.
- Partners with third‑party data vendors to optimize data usage, resolve issues, and identify enhancements aligned to business needs.
- Coaches and mentors Insights Analysts by providing technical guidance, best practices, and feedback on storytelling and business impact.
- Supports the organization’s shift toward self‑service analytics by developing standards, documentation, and training materials.
- Regularly works onsite to collaborate cross‑functionally, strengthen partnerships, and drive real‑time problem solving.

This is a salaried exempt position with an annualized salary range of $115,000 to $130,000.
