- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 3 years of experience working on system UI and developing holistic design frameworks.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
- Experience launching user‑facing software experiences.
- Experience with product privacy, security, compliance, and internationalization.
- Experience with pricing, business model strategy, and commerce infrastructure.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and services.
- Experience as an outbound product manager.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc., to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world’s information. We’re responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.
As a part of Google Beam, you will combine advances in hardware and software to enable friends, families and co-workers to feel together, even when they’re cities (or countries) apart. Imagine looking through a sort of magic window, and through that window, you see another person, life-size and in three dimensions.
As an experienced Product Manager on Google Beam, your primary focus will be to define, and execute on Beam’s commercialization strategy. You will work deeply with research, engineering, and our go-to-market team teams, as well as our external partners, to help us shape the future of video meetings.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163,000 - $237,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.

- Define the next phase of Beam’s commercialization strategy and partner with cross-functional teams across Google and external partners to bring Beam to market.
- Drive the strategy, execution and go-to-market messaging for Beam’s privacy, security, and compliance approach.
- Lead Beam’s international readiness and cloud infrastructure strategy and execution.
- Explore new verticals, use-cases and monetization models for Beam.
